Our Reefer's Team

Our association's governing body, also known as our reefers team, consists of elected members who are dedicated to ensuring that our mission and vision are achieved through various engagements. These members are responsible for overseeing the direction and activities of the association, making decisions that will benefit and support our goals. Through their leadership and commitment, they work tirelessly to ensure that the best interests of the association and its members are always at the forefront. The reefers team plays a crucial role in guiding the association towards success and in upholding the values that we hold dear. Their dedication and passion drive them to make decisions that will positively impact the association and its community.

The Advisory Council is a specialized body of elected members that provides expertise on matters related to the interests of the Association. This council consists of five members: one legal professional, one marine biologist, and three representatives from the general reefing community, all of whom are experienced reefers. Members of the Advisory Council are elected by the Association’s governing body from the general membership. The governing body holds full authority to appoint members to this council, ensuring the best interests of the Association are served.

Founding Members

Meet our founders—the visionary individuals who dedicated their efforts to establishing a recognized identity for our reefing community, with the continuous support of its members. As an association, we honor and acknowledge the contributions of these founders, who have tirelessly advocated for the fundamental rights of our community over the years. Among them are senior reefers whose names cannot be disclosed for various reasons, but to whom we will remain eternally grateful.
